London Olympics - 14 days to go. Indian contingent is ready to take off carrying the hopes and wishes of a billion hearts. Return of Roger!

The King is back! Congratulations to the phenomenal player the world has ever seen!  Roger Federer has won his 7th Wimbledon and has regained his No1 position. 

What an incredible match it was. He beat Andy Murray on his home ground  4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4. Roger has brought smiles to millions of his fans and proved once again that his era is not yet over. It was sad to see Murray trying to control his emotions in the end though. He played his best but it was not his day.

At 30, Roger has become the oldest winner of Wimbledon since Arthur Ashe in 1975. Coincidentally, Serena Williams  who too is at 30 has regained the Women' Wimbledon this year. Is 30 the latest trend?

How the Olympic Torch is lit?

London Olympics : 24 Days to go.
Sports, Athletes, Nations, Competitions, Spectators, medals, fun and frolic. 
Of the various aspects associated with the Olympics, here is some information about the starting point of the journey i.e. 
the Olympic Torch.

The beginning of this mega event starts with the lighting of the Flame in a very traditional ritual in Olympia, Greece. It is lit from the sun's rays at the temple of Hera in Olympia. The Olympic Torch then relays to the Host Nation through various Torchbearers, spreading the message of peace, unity and friendship. It ends its journey as the last Torchbearer lights the cauldron at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in the Olympic Stadium, marking the official start of the Games.

The Flame is extinguished on the final day of the Games, at the Closing Ceremony.

The Legend, the Master Blaster, the God of Cricket, Little Master, Superstar, Unbeatable, master, genius, incomparable, terrific, historic, phenomenal, savior, a devoted family man, the guy next door......the English dictionary falls short of adjectives for this great man, for he is an adjective himself!!

In fact, he has become a synonym for Cricket!!
