It is Independence Week for us Indians and we celebrate our 68th Independence Day on August 15th. I strongly believe that there should not be any particular day or time of the year to show your patriotism for the country and to remember our freedom fighters and martyrs for their selfless sacrifices.
If you happen to host a party during this time, why not use this wonderful opportunity to celebrate Independence day in a unique way by organizing a Independence Day Theme Party. If the idea sounds you interesting, read further..Yes, in the series of Theme Parties here are the details for hosting an Independence Day Theme Party.
Let the tricolor prevail. Decorate the party hall with tricolors - Orange, White and Green. Place tiny flags all over the area or hang them in strings from the ceilings. Use lots of balloons in the same color. Draw a huge map of India on the floor and fill it with Rangoli or flowers. Hang posters of freedom fighters. Some ideas for you..
