Yes! warli mania has gotten into me. I am totally in love with warli painting. Since my first warli painting on a coffee mug and then a warli frame, I just cant stop myself from painting. This is a vase I made from a bottle cover. Googled for various warli motifs and have tried to represent the celebration scene of the warli tribe. (Am not happy with the way the photos have come though!)

Theme Party - Bollywood Night
Gear up for a fun filled, energetic and rocking party. Theme Bollywood Night calls for nothing less than that. Movies, music, masti, dance, glamour, stars, hangama are all going to be part of the entertainment , thus making the night a special one. (You can even plan a theme of Classic 60's, where the entire set up and dressing would be in classic style of 60's and 70's)
A lot of preparations need to be done to make this theme party a grand and successful one. Let us check these things one by one.
Decoration: Glamorous, colorful and glittery are the synonyms for bollywood. The sizzling and glittering decor can turn a simple party hall into an extravagant movie set. Deck up the party hall with sparkling wall hangings, candles, flowers and rich and silky cushions.
Take the photos of actors and actresses and hang them in the form of shining stars. Cover the walls with the posters of latest and hit movies. Colorful and glittering fabric can be used in a creative drape to cover the walls, windows and ceiling and any empty space. Multi colored lights add up to the ambiance.
The entrance and the venue can be decorated in any of the following way...
Dress code : As the theme is Bollywood, each and every one is a star today. They can choose to come in any glamorous outfit. But giving a dress code brings the party alive. You can even ask the couples to come dressed as bollywood's hit pairs like Shahrukh Khan - Kajol, Aamir Khan - Juhi Chawla, Saif Ali Khan - Kareena, Madhuri Dikshit - Anil Kapoor and so on. Another fun way is they can wear masks of these stars as they enter and let other guests guess who they are in real. Once done, they can remove off their masks. This is one real exciting way to welcome your guests.
Single males can choose the characters like Munna bhai - Circuit (Sanjay Dutt - Arshad Warsi from Munaabhai MBBS), Jai - Veeru (Amitabh - Dharmedra in Sholay) etc.
Games : Entertainment-Entertainment-Entertainment is the mantra for the evening. You can plan umpteen number of games to entertain the guests.

How to Wear a Saree in Gujarati Style?
Hope you have seen the Different ways of Draping sarees post. So as promised I will be giving the detailed and step by step demonstration of each method in individual posts. Here comes the second method - Saree draping in Gujarati style.
Wearing a Saree in Gujarati style
Step 1: Starting at the navel, tuck the plain end of the saree into the petticoat keeping the entire saree on the left and continue tucking till you take a complete turn. Adjust the lower end of the saree to the height required. Ideally footwear is worn prior to draping the saree so that you drape the saree to the right length. (If this point is not clear check here)
Step 3: Now take the remaining saree to the left around back and up over your right shoulder keeping desired length for the pallu. Fold the pallu into pleats and tuck the left bottom edge of the pallu inside the petticoat. Then secure the pleats with pin.
Have a look at this video for the demonstration of the same. The technique may vary a bit. Here you can also see the variation of Gujarati draping called Rajrani style of wearing a saree.

Dance styles may be Classical, folk, traditional, contemporary or theatrical performances. Dance has its own language. Dance as art may tell a story, set a mood or express an emotion. The dance styles are also a reflection of cultural and traditional values of the region.
I have a very little knowledge about the dance forms. Am sharing this new found knowledge with you all , hope it helps you in understanding more of this art form.
Here is a sneak peek into 25 of the most popular dance forms from around the world.
17. Indian Classical Dances
1. Bharata natyam is one of the most popular classical Indian dances. the traditional elements of classical dance which forms the basis for the performance are the mudras (hand positions), abhinaya (facial expressions) and padams (narrative dances). Bharatnatyam is more popular in South Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
2. Bihu dance is a folk dance from the Indian state of Assam related to the festival of Bihu. This joyous dance is performed by both young men and women, and is characterized by brisk dance steps, rapid hand movement, and a rhythmic swaying of the hips in order to represent youthful passion. Dancers wear traditionally colorful Assamese clothing.
3. Kathak is a classical North Indian dance, now popular around the world. The word kathak is derived from katha, meaning story. Kathak is characterized by intricate footwork and precise rhythmic patterns that the dancer articulates by controlling ankle bells. Both men and women dance kathak, which often conveys moods of love.
4. Kathakali originated in the South Indian state of Kerala over 500 years ago, . It is a highly stylised classical Indian dance-drama noted for its attractive make-up of characters, their elaborate costumes, detailed gestures and well-defined body movements. The name comes from the roots katha( story) and kali( performance or play).
5. Kuchipudi developed in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It exhibits scenes from the Hindu Epics, legends and mythological tales through a combination of music, dance and acting. Like other classical dances, Kuchipudi also comprises pure dance, mime and histrionics but it is the use of speech that distinguishes Kuchipudi's presentation as dance drama. Another unique feature is the tarangam, in which the performer dances on the edges of a brass plate, executing complicated rhythmic patterns while sometimes also balancing a pot of water on the head.
6. Manipuri, a smooth and graceful dance form, is from Manipur, a north eastern state of India. The most striking part of Manipuri dance is its colorful decoration, lightness of dancing foot, delicacy of abhinaya(drama), lilting music and poetic charm. This dance form is mostly ritualistic and draws heavily from the rich culture of Manipur. Dancers wear long embroidered skirts and translucent veils as they perform swaying and gliding movements.
7. Mohiniattam is a classical dance form of Kerala. Mohiniattam is derived from the words "Mohini" (meaning beautiful women) and "attam"(meaning dance). Thus, Mohiniattam dance form is a beautiful feminine style with surging flow of body movements. It is similar in origin to its traditionally masculine counterpart kathakali, but involves more feminine attributes.
8. Odissi dates back to the first century B.C. Odissi, which originated in the temples of the state of Orissa in Eastern India, is characterized by fluidity of the upper torso and graceful gestures and wristwork, juxtaposed with firm footwork. The rhythmic dances are called batu (foundation), pallavi(flowering) and moksha (liberation). An important feature of this dance is the tribhangi, which divides the body into three parts: head, bust and torso. This concept has created the very characteristic poses, which are more contorted than those founding other classical Indian dances.
9. Yakshagana is a popular folk theatre form of Karnataka with a long history of nearly 400 years. It is a unique harmony of musical tradition, eye-catching costumes, and authentic styles of dance, improvised gestures and acting with its extemporaneous dialogue appealing to a wide range of the community. It is a vibrant, vigorous living form of theatre art.
Some more of the Indian Dance forms not included here are Bhangra (from Punjab), Garba (from Gujarat), Lavani (from Maharashtra), Sattriya(from Assam), Dekhni (from Goa) and Bollywood Dance
Some of the famous dance forms missed out in the list are Rumba, Paso Double, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Lambada, Hustle, Polka, Bachata, Step Dance, Bolero, Contra Dance, Merengue.
